Water
Water extinguishers are suitable for use against Class A fires involving combustible materials such as wood, paper and fabric, and provide the basis for the first-aid fire protection of many commercial, industrial and civic buildings.

Powder
Powder is a multi-purpose fire fighting medium which interferes with the combustion process and provides extremely fast fire knockdown. Suitable for use on fires involving combustible materials, flammable liquids and electrical hazards.
|
AFFF Foam
Foam Spray (AFFF - Aqueous Film Forming Foam) has a cooling effect on a fire and forms a fine film which stops oxygen getting to the flames. Suitable for the two most common classes of fire risk (A and B) and usually safe if accidentally sprayed on low voltage electrical equipment.
|
Wet Chemical
Wet chemical solution cools and emulsifies when applied to burning oil and this process immediately seals the surface and prevents re-ignition. Designed for cooking appliances where fires involve cooking oil and deep fat, it is also suitable for combustible material.
|
Carbon Dioxide
The displacement of air from the local area of a fire by high pressure discharge of carbon dioxide achieves a very fast fire control. CO2 can be used on flammable liquid and flammable gas fires and, being both non-conductive and non-corrosive, is ideally suited for risks involving machinery such as switchgear and power plant.
